Schlachthof

The Wiesbaden Schlachthof (slaughterhouse) is the alternative cultural center of Wiesbaden. The slaughterhouse and the beautiful water tower are located next to the Wiesbaden central station and the holocaust memorial “Verladerampe” (loading ramp). The buildings are surrounded by a park with a beach volleyball field and a lot of space for official and unofficial events. [...]

Burg Katz

Burg Katz is a castle on the Rhine river above the village of St. Goarshausen, between Wiesbaden and Koblenz. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Rhine Gorge (Upper Middle Rhine Valley). The castle was built between 1360 and 1371 by the Graves of Katzenelnbogen.
